reception is terrible near the cottage, but thankfully the wifi is great. We usually get around 70mbit/s, which is more than enough for streaming, office work, and gaming.
Yes, we provide a high chair and a cot; please bring your own bedding for the cot. Additionally, there are a few board games (the collection will grow - I like board games).
While we love hosting guests who come to relax and enjoy our beautiful cottage, we kindly ask that hen and stag parties choose a different venue. We like the peace and quiet that we get in Youlgrave and based on personal experience, such parties often disrupt the neighbours, which we want to avoid. Additionally, such gatherings can raise our insurance costs and disturb the ambience we've worked hard to create.
Plus, let's be honest—our cozy little spot isn’t exactly a place for wild celebrations! We promise, you'll have a much better time in a more lively setting. Nottingham and Sheffield aren't far away ;-)
We know that pets are a beloved part of the family, and we truly appreciate how much they mean to you. However, to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests (including our young son, who has pet allergies), we kindly ask that pets are not brought to the cottage. This decision helps us provide a relaxing, allergy-free environment for everyone, as some guests may have sensitivities or allergies to pet dander.
